After doing my rough sketches for the package I figured I needed to develop mockups to get the dimensions in tact so I can make a functional dieline. I went width my first drawing for the overall package look. It needed to be more of a tall structural package to support less packaging. I decided that instead of putting a little slider at the top of the package I would just add a removeable seal, which can also be used as a handle. The cookie tray can now be rotated removed and positioned in a way for the cookies to be dispensed from a particular area. However I find that the inner tube needs to be shrunken down a bit to support an easier rotation.
