A Clockwork Orange Poster
After deciding on my Presentable concept for the Clockwork Orange movie poster, I immediately began work on the design. I first did a sketch of the eyeball and had to do it in a way that made it more realistic, as if his eye was being held open. I had painted it with watercolour pencils to provide the texture. I then painted a black stylistic border to help bring containment within the image. I then scanned the eye and border and developed them in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. The typeface “Manson” provides both a psychotic and sophisticated look to the image. The orange and pink gradient helps provide a strong contrast within the image. I may need to build on the Illustration more.
